+RuberyBlue
Hi All Sarah Farmer, weather presenter at BBC South Today based in Southampton, has contacted the GAGB. She is researching a possible feature on Geocaching and is looking for people to talk to about the growth of the activity and its popularity in the South. As well as the real enthusiasts, her aim is to find unusual case studies, i.e. the oldest/youngest Geocachers, or perhaps someone who may have been to the most caches etc. BBC South today covers Southern England including Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Sussex, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. If you are interested in participating her contact details are: Sarah.Farmer@bbc.co.uk RB Quote Link to comment

+MartyBartfast
Well according to the South Today Website Sarah Farmer is nolonger on their weather team, and I'm pretty sure Sara Thornton isn't Sarah Farmer with a name change. Quote Link to comment
+thekennelat79
BBC South still lists her "on the weather team" as of noon today, along with Alexis Green and Reham Khan Quote Link to comment

+drdick&vick
I have sent an email to Sarah enquiring whether the article is still being considered. Quote Link to comment
+drdick&vick
Just to let you all know that I recieved this email from Sarah this morning: <Quote> Hello Richard, Many thanks for all of your help on this. I have passed all of the details on to the series producer who is currently working on this summer's feature strand. We are certainly considering the item. My producer has contacted one case study who now seems reluctant to take part in any filming so we are considering alternatives. Many thanks, Sarah Farmer. <Quote> Quote Link to comment

He had 2 of my caches in mind and was also interested in doing a seperate item on one of the [highly secret]locations . I am too busy work wise so turned down the offer but I did arrange for a suitably briefed and keen substitute [Who I feel could cope with the fame and future Hollywood commisions] The producer said he would phone me back on Thursday but he failed to do so and I don't have his phone number !
