2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 After reading the replies to our thread New cache alert we thought it would be a good idea to have a special link in the forums just for ‘Better than average’ caches. This link would be for those who put a lot of effort into placing a cache and would like someplace to CROW about how well they did. It would also be for those who have found a cache that they felt was exceptional and why others may want to take the time to go and find it. We would suggest that when a thread is opened the name of the cache and the state it is located in would be the name of the thread. The reasoning for this is so when someone is planning a vacation they won’t have to start a thread in the general area asking for caches to find at their destinations. This link would allow them to find the better than average quality caches in that area. When cachers find a truly good cache they can post it on the cache page and tell a few friends face to face only. This link would allow them to share their enthusiasm with other cachers and also have a link without the flaming. It would promote the best of Geocaching.
