+TheRoadWife
Where can I get an Argentina map for my Garmin 1300. I'm specifically looking for Buenos Aires and Tierra Del Fuego areas. Must be downloadable since i'm leaving in two days. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+John Drake
When I was in Patagonia, I used the free map from the following site: http://www.proyectomapear.com.ar/ The map is rather good. Open Street Maps should have good coverage by now as well. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
+Unobtainium
The map is rather good. Open Street Maps should have good coverage by now as well. If you want to have a look at these, try this site. It has been said that the site is running slow at the moment, so try looking at the one of the predefined countries (Argentina is listed ) Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
No, skip that. You want the proyectomapear maps mentioned in the first reply. They are freaking excellent, and even include a whole collection of POIs. Quote Link to comment
flyjazz
I've downloaded and used the mapear map mentioned above. It's as good as any Garmin City Navigator map and free. I had to create a user name and password to download the map,a bit tricky as I don't speak or read Spanish. Using Google translator may help if required. Quote Link to comment
