+Criminal
Was browsing the recent logs and saw that someone had logged the “Final Approach” cache. Funny, I temp disabled it (son’s cache) myself. Then I noticed that my son’s cache is named “The Final Approach”, and did a search. There are four caches with pretty much the same name. Is there nothing in the program that prevents naming a cache with a name used already? If not, that could add an interesting twist to a future hide... http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ Link to comment
+Mopar
You mean like Field of Dreams or Kid's Cache? Tae-Kwon-Leap is not a path to a door, but a road leading forever towards the horizon. Link to comment

+LoneHowler
As there is thousands of caches theres bound to be some overlap. I think it should be ok so long as their isn't two named similarly in the same city state or provence More to see, More to do Link to comment
+Markwell
We've got some nearby ones with the same names that are in close proximity. Between a rock and a hard place Between a Rock and a Hard Place Fallen Giant Fallen Giant This causes some confusion when we're at gatherings when talking to cachers about which ones you've found. You also need to make sure that you log the appropriate cache. Other than that, it's only mildly irksome. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment

+Markwell
Don't know if you guys know this or not, but an "unnamed" cache - it is permissable - is defaulted to "Geocache." Here's a really old one, and it's companion (archived). Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment

iryshe
My wife had one of the first hints "where do trolls live?" That gets repeated quite a lot. Like when you make a joke at some sightseeing locale and two couple's behind you make the same joke. We're much alike, you and I. Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location Link to comment
