Cleaning Up Mt. Everest

Recommended Posts

The problem with cleaning up Mt. Everest as I understand it is the fact that most all of the trash is at or near the top, including numerous dead climbers, and when one gets up there with the thin air and lack of energy from going that far, they simply do not have the necessary energy to bring the stuff down. That is why if you die at the top you stay at the top. I guess the air must also be to thin to use a helicopter to airlift things out.

True... but I'm also familiar with the saying that shoot rolls downhill. They brought it up full, they can bring it down empty, or not make the climb.
