+user13371 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I've used both Glympse and Geoloqi to share my track in real time from my smartphone. In concept I like Geoloqi better, but it's still beta and I think for now Glympse is more reliable (though both seem a bit flaky sometimes). Are there other iPhone (or Android) apps for doing what these two do? Glympse http://appshopper.com/social-networking/glympse Geoloqi http://appshopper.com/social-networking/geoloqi As an aside, I'm driving from Portland Oregon to Walla Walla Washington later today, and will probably post the Glympse link here, in case anyone wants to see how these work. +northernpenguin Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I use Latitudie myself, with Google Latitude. Note that is Latitudie, not Latitude. I use that because I can control the update interval and specify minimum GPS accuracy before a beacon will occur. It is perfect as a hike tracker Glympse was not available for Canadians when it first came out...I see it is now though so I'll give it a try. I like te trip URL functionality Quote
