Great series or strings of caches.

Recommended Posts

It is a strange request, but I am looking for collections of caches that have particularly interesting arrangements. I'll give a few examples:

http://coord.info/GC2FPH4 This is the first cache of 100 that are each along a giant string of caches. (Look at the map and you will know what I mean)

Also: http://coord.info/GC23PVQ This is part of the mouth of a giant smiley face out in the desert near my down.

Are there any other collections like this around the coutry or even world?

I have been bookmarking a few as I find out about them; only bookmarked one cache from each series so you'll have to zoom out to see the Geo Art. Certainly not a complete list, just those I've noticed.

A friend, georooks, using 3 existing caches and placing 26 caches made Signal's Portrait. I helped by adding two caches for Signal's antennae using coordinates and cache containers provided by georooks. The top of it is this cache: GC2NWWP. The series is almost 1 mile wide and .84 mile tall. It is set on a very rocky plateau with awesome views. I was impressed with georooks' idea and execution of it.

Near Dunnellon Florida: 30 caches that form a cross

Wow ... awesome.. would be great to see something like this in good ol' NZ (New Zealand.... a distant land in the far Pacific Ocean... just over by Aussie.. Australia that is) Hmm the possibilities!!!! No massive deserts or tundra here but I bet our native bush would be a challenge! Mind the kiwis don't bite ya haha

What people call a kiwi in other contries outside of NZ we call 'kiwifruit'... what we call a kiwi is our national bird... a flightless bird but one we treasure with pride... google it and you may see the similarities with the fruit lol
