TheCacheSeeker
Do you like caches along a trail? Like a walking/biking/riding horses trail. We have trails with plenty of caches along them in our area. Quote Link to comment

+YooperSnowman
I live in a rural area and love caches along trails that involve hiking/x-country skiing/shoeshoeing. Most of my urban caching is just so I can satisfy my geocaching addiction when I can't get off-road. Quote Link to comment
+narcissa
I like finding caches along a trail when the caches have some variety and have been placed by different people over time. I'm not keen on trails where each cache is identical. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Cache trails help when I travel. I load a PQ into Mapsource and look for the string of caches then check out the area. I have found many enjoyable trails I might not have otherwise found otherwise. Quote Link to comment

+Chokecherry
Depends on the trail. We have large bike trail thing in the area. I'm not too keen on the caches on it because big chunks of the trail aren't that scenic and I don't necessarily enjoy walking on a paved path all the time. There's other ATV trails that I tend to avoid walking on as well. Around here some folks use those trials without looking at what is in front of them and at a high speed. Sometimes I'll play on those trails but not that often. Nice little seclude trails that aren't heavily used I enjoy most. I enjoy the caches on those ones as well as long as they're not just another micro stuck there by someone on vacation or something. Quote Link to comment

+redsox_mark
I'll take whatever someone is willing to go through the effort and hide. +1 for me. If it is a nice walk I'm happy, even if the hides are all similar. If the hides/containers are varied and unique that is a bonus. Now if the caches are "bad" (not maintained, broken, wet, etc), I don't like that. Quote Link to comment
+MoonCatKDT & Peanut
I'm pretty easy, but i really do enjoy having a nice long trail with caches along it (as long as they are a bit off the beaten path). It makes for a good day trip. I do agree that they need to be different stand-alone caches. Mini loc n locs all .1 mile apart all hidden in stumps within 6 feet of the trail doesn't really interest me. Quote Link to comment
+the4dirtydogs
Trail caching is pretty much all we do anymore. We hit the 4x4 trails, hiking trails, and the bike trails. We don't really cache too much in the city anymore, the traffic and people just get to me these days. Much rather be out in the mountains or the desert. Quote Link to comment

+fatkidsOTWunite
I've recently been searching for caches involving trail hikes in the Georgia area. There are several nice caching hikes on or near the Florida Trail but if anyone can suggest some in Georgia I would appreciate it. Friends and I are setting up a trail in SW Georgia with 8 caches on a 1.25 mile trail but those won't be available until May in conjunction with an event. I'd love to find some that others have hidden on a trail! Janet Quote Link to comment

+EscapeFromFlatland
This summer I plan to backpack a washed out rail line through Oregon's coastal range and find and place caches as I go. A two-day power trail through the woods. :-) Quote Link to comment

GOF and Bacall
It depends on what you mean by caches along a trail. If you mean hiking a trail and finding a cache then yes, that's what I enjoy. If you mean a bunch of caches all the same strung together at .10 mile intervals then no. Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
We like hiking trails with caches. We love hiking trails with caches that aren't the same hide every 528 feet. Looks like we're not alone in this. Quote Link to comment
sabrefan7
I have hiked almost 10 miles found 4 caches and saw an old fire tower on a mtn summit. Thats a good day of cachin' Quote Link to comment
