KDT just gave me a thought. For whoever gets me, it might be best to keep it as a toy rather than treats. Seeing as I think i'm one of the only (if not the only) people from Canada, I don't want it to be seized at the border never to be seen again. <_<

Laval K-9 is in Canada also and there have been minimal problems with their missions going back and forth over the border. They have sent and received human food and pet treats over the border quite often...Wyatt Earp LOVES missions!

With this being your first mission I am not comfortable with you signing up for 7 missions, and I do not feel that a cow and calf qualify as pets for this mission, we are referring to house pets. Anyone else care to weigh in on this?

I received Serena's mission today from drneal and WOW what a mission it was!!!! She received snausages in a blanket treat, Chicken chew treat (which she is really liking) a soft stuffed horse (which she has already been playing with), a tennis ball that is just her size!, 2 salami meat sticks, 4 trackable coins: drneal's personal,T*Sun's Sea of Treasures,Best Friends Geocoin(the sentiment on this one brought tears to my eyes because I know that my Serena's years are becoming numbered), a dog bone cachekinz,and a non trackable drneal-ILYK ASPGB coin, 2 wooden nickels 1 from Heine and 1 from Maxx and a magnet from a donation made to the Elk County Humane Society!

Drneal, Where did you get your wooden nickels of Heine and Maxx done and do they have them in Pomeranian?

Dixie and Cali will be sending their missions off tomorrow. A few more things they want to get for their friends

Cali received her mission today. She had just woke up long enough to get her something to eat and I decided to let her open her gifts. First, we saw this cute little card and found out it was from Shadow's Friend. She got some wonderful treats...Temptations and Party Mix (both are her favorites) she also got Feline Greenies which she has never tried and she loves them too. She got a laser light toy, a bouncy rat that she sleeps with now and a wiggle worm. She didn't see no use in the coins so she let her mama have those lol. I love the coins and pathtags!!! 2 of them which looks like personal coins I will keep them forever in my collection and the 3rd coin...I was shocked, speechless, happy and excited to receive this coin. One I have been wanting ever since I've found out they were coming out and I tried my hardest to get one and had no luck. But now...I have it to keep in my collection and its the Mardi Gras Masquerade Venetian Coin!! Thank you so much Shadow's Friend and Jean. Cali and I are very happy

As long as you don't send Kinder chocolates you'll be safe :rolleyes: If you do, don't write it down on the customs form you stick on the package

I have sent many missions to the States and they always reached their recipients. I usually don't mention food on the form to play safe

Personally I would mark it as a gift and in the field write "game tokens" and leave it at that. Customs usually doesn't mess with gifts as long as you do not place a high value on it(mark it like $10 or less.

Maya's pet mission arrived today! She is one very lucky bird! southern_angel sent a whole box of wonderful things. She got lots of yummy seeds, a huge pineapple mineral treat, a mirror toy and a toy that has a banana and a bell. Maya loves bells! She also got the cutest Parrot cache buddy and 2 awesome geocoins; the Old Timers and Georgia Geocaching Association. We didn't have either of these coins and are thrilled to add them to our collection!

You can write pet toys and game tokens, it will be just fine. Don't mention food, they could become suspicious :rolleyes:

Raja the Wonder Dog would love to be a part of the pet mission!! Raja is a large "Border Collie/German Shepard" mix...she goes on ALL cache excursions...has had her share of cactus needles in her paws, wears her own backpack with her water bottle and water bowl in it, and loves to be out traveling with us. Raja rocks and loves GeoCaching!

Southern Angel sent Raja the greatest box of goodies. Yesterday, Raja went to PetSmart to be groomed...she is the saddest thing when she realizes this is about to happen. We live in Phoenix and a long haired black dog is miserable unless they are shaved. When Raja got home yesterday, sporting her new haircut, there was this incredible box of goodies. She was thrilled to dig her nose through all of the cool things. Thank you so much, Southern Angel, for sending us fabulous coins and a box of awesome things for my baby, Raja!!

The easy way I found is to have the picture displayed in a browser the copy the URL i.e. http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad15/principal1/IMG_3377.jpg in the posting window hit the insert picture icon the past the link. It shoudl look like "[***]http://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad15/principal1/IMG_3377.jpg[/***] with the *** = img.

For photos from photobucket just copy and paste the image (IMG) code, that is all I ever do and it works great on the forums. (On the web page for a cache listing is another story)

Wow I think this is the smallest pet mission I have seen, even with 2 sign-ups there were only 12 cachers involved and 24 pets.

Wyatt was very pleased with the cute card and all the neat stuff he found in the package he received There were different kind of treats: porkhide, duck breasts and sweet potato & chicken wraps. A few squeaky toys: a kooky mallard, a cute rabbit and a large Kong tennis ball. He didn't care much for the coins and pathtags so, I will put them aside for the moment The coins are both very nice, a Mardi Gras and a Minnesota. I missed on the Mardi Gras one and had some regrets so now everything is fine :rolleyes: Love those pathtags too.

Wyatt and his new bunny are patiently waiting for Shadow to join them for a special treat :anicute:
