+Eric van Graveheart Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Hey Chuck, no need to hurry: Haste makes waste... Autumn has not yet begun and Winter will last long enough... Btw: I guess Mucha hasn´t painted all his seasonal drawings, each within the according season... So take it easy and be assured that Melanie and I will happily buy your Autumn coins, even if they came out in winter! Kind regards, Udo Quote
+ECplus3 Posted September 7, 2011 Author Posted September 7, 2011 Here's a first look at the Autumn design! I went with a different style on the back devoting the centre to a 3d art nouveau moon in keeping with the harvest theme of the season. The leaf elements of the outer design could also make it look like a sunflower too. Quote
+scificollector Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Very nice. Great Looking coin. Quote
+manu luq Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Beautiful orchid, beautiful full moon, precious woman, ...another great design in this series that I'll want have Quote
+Eric van Graveheart Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Yeah... the woman looks good from behind, too! Gorgeous design! Very well done, also the full moon fits nicely to the autumn theme. Quote
+Serchnsoul Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I love the design! I am just sorry I found them in autumn and missed the first two. Quote
+geoquino Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 The summer edition is still available in the store. Quote
+geoquino Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I like the design all in all. However, it seems to me the moon face somehow does not match with the rest. Just my point of view. I will be buying anyway :-) Quote
+Team kizb Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Great looking coin! Interested to see the samples. Quote
GregsonVaux Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I like that design! I will definitely be buying some. Quote
+EyeD10T Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Very nice design. Cant wait till it comes out. Quote
+JackHoe Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Sometimes you have to be a little patient before coins arrive. They where send on august 25 and arrived today october 12, so they took almost 7 weeks to get here. Maybe I should get them myself next time But it was worth waiting for. Thanks for the sevice Chuck, they look great. Quote
+geoquino Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) The Czech Republic was just one day earlier. I have almost given up. Thanks for a very reasonable price declaration. It saved me a lot of money (for autumn and winter versions, of course). Edited October 12, 2011 by geoquino Quote

Thanks for the sevice Chuck, they look great. That was quite a wait! Surface shipping to Europe is supposed to take 4 - 6 weeks, but that doesn't include time in customs if it gets held up. +ECplus3 Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 Just a couple of days left on the Autumn pre-sale. Thanks everyone for making this series so popular! This latest one has already eclipsed the previous two sales. There are still a small number of full sets available, not to mention the LEs and REs. Quote
+ECplus3 Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Trying to get an early jump on Winter. Here is a first draft of the front. Merry Christmas everyone!! Quote

+jpbarr Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) This one is my personal favorite of the set. My wish list just got bigger Edited December 15, 2011 by jpbarr Quote
+Eric van Graveheart Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I think it fits nicely to the winter-theme, but - to be honest - my first spontaneous impression was that the woman looks rather androgynous... well, hard to explain... she has something harsh... just give her a sword in the right hand and she would pass for a young knight. Would love to see her more feminine... Quote
GregsonVaux Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Wow! I love it! This may be the best one yet, but I do agree that she looks a bit manly. I am not at all an expert on drawing humans, but my guess is that her jaw is too large. I think that there needs to be a line on the left side of her face (the viewer's right) showing her delicate jaw. Some of the main feature that distinguish a man from a woman are jaw, breasts, and hips. Hips are probably the most important, and breasts are the least in calling attention to femaleness. However, the jaw is also crucial. In spite of this hopefully constructive criticism, it is a great design and I will be buying it (probably a set) whether it is modified or not. Quote
GregsonVaux Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 One more thing, I love the snowflakes behind the woman. I have now designed two coins with snowflakes, and yours put mine to shame. I'm excited to see the other side. Quote
+manu luq Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Another excellent coin at the end of this beautiful series! ...pity there are only four seasons. Merry Christmas! Quote
+JackHoe Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 It's a very nice design again. I would love to make the series complete with a set of these. Quote
+anne.and.eli Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I love this one. This whole series is fantastic, beautiful work! Quote
+Mysteriousrose Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Beautiful front. Love the detail with the poinsettia. I can't wait to see the final design. Quote
GregsonVaux Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I really hope you don't mind my input. I'll say it again, it is an awesome design and far better than I could do. I have looked at the female figure several more times and the hairline keeps coming to mind. I really have no idea how to draw hairlines, but it seems to me that it could come a little more forward, so that there is a little more hair around her forehead. Perhaps her hands could also be a tad bit thinner and more delicate. Quote
+Ashallond Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 yeah, it's the forehead. it comes out too much. that's why people are seeing the semi male look. can't wait to get my autumn coins..... Quote
+Where'sMyMarbles Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Ssooooo SO pretty!! I have not been able to buy any of the set, but they are BEAUTIFUL and need to be added to my wish list! WONDERFUL job!! Quote

+geoquino Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 My autumn set made it across the ocean very quickly and the coins look great in hand. What is more, I survived without VAT and custom fees. Thanks a lot, Chuck. Hopefully, it will also be possible with Sliderule. Quote
