wyeiwyr
I was not a geocacher, but rather metal detecting, while on holidays. I searched to the top of a hill, and found a geocache, with note, among other stuff, with this website. Ok, so I have heard about geocaching, but never persued it. Now I have signed up, but I can't find the cache by coordinants. It is within a mile of N 30 45.531 W 111 08.664 I traded an object with one of mine, and would like to post with the owner, or ? I think I will like this new hobbie!! May even get my GD interested! Quote Link to comment
sabrefan7
Hi and Welcome to the Fun Do you know the name of the cache? or the GC code It would be in the log book. Also use the GC maps of the area that you were in and you may be able to find it that way Quote Link to comment
+zoltig
I brought up the map with those coordinates and do not see anything. Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
So your in Mexico? looks like there are no caches within 20 miles of that location. Edited February 16, 2011 by mpilchfamily Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
It is possible that it is either a stage or final for a puzzle or multicache. Quote Link to comment
+zoltig
It is possible that it is either a stage or final for a puzzle or multicache. Closest cache that I see is in AZ at just over 40 miles North Quote Link to comment
+GeoGeeBee
Maybe someone placed it and wasn't able to get it published due to the vacation cache guidelines? Or maybe it just hasn't been published YET. Quote Link to comment
+northernpenguin
It is also possible that it is listed on another listing site (Terracaching, Opencaching.us, etc etc) Or that it was placed, and not published for whatever reason, then abandoned (Reviewer declined, CO changed mind and never submitted) Quote Link to comment
+Ecylram
I see nothing in that area either. Are the coordinates you provided, accurate? Quote Link to comment
GOF and Bacall
Welcome to our insanity. Is it possible there is an error in those coordinates? Quote Link to comment

Chadsnose
It is possible that it is either a stage or final for a puzzle or multicache. Closest cache that I see is in AZ at just over 40 miles North i know of at least 2 multi's that cover 150+ miles with up to 12 stages. Sure. But those long multis are not the norm. I'm betting on an error in the coordinates or an archived cache that wasn't picked up. Quote Link to comment
