Best way to get F2F is becoming a reviewer?

Back on subject. Using my reviewer account, I published a few caches yesterday. Then I had dinner. Then I put my boots on and headed out to try for FTF on a cache about 2 miles away. Got the FTF. Took the FTF prize. Found another cache (an older one) about another mile away. Left the FTF prize there. Haven't logged either one yet. I'm about a year behind in my logging. I'll log them eventually. Probably in about 6 months. How many sins did I commit?

This is the exact kind of thing that shows why more cachers should attend the School of Intuitive Caching (SIC), the only school with the motto "Why wait until caches are published." Indeed several cachers in my area have had great success in finding caches even before the reviewer is aware of them, without any hints from the owner that would impugn their reputation. Several have passed the final exam The school has campuses all over the world, but if you have to ask where it is, you are not eligible to attend and will have to go to the Institute for Higher Geosensing or try Remote Viewing future caches instead.

Actually, a reviewer *could* wait to publish the cache until after he had already found it. No "rushing out the door" required. :rolleyes:

That's what I was getting at with the "insider information" metaphor.

Did you say that or was it Ashley? :unsure: :unsure: :unsure: I'm so confused1 :blink: :blink: :blink::laughing: :laughing:

?

Crud, misspelled.

Dang it, Larry! I clicked it. :laughing:

:lol: :lol: :lol::ph34r:

Does it count if you closed it before the video started? :unsure::laughing:

Yes.

Darn! :mad:

Why does my post say "Ringbone"? :unsure:

what the **** is a rnigbone?

Might want to watch the language, buddy. You're gonna get swatted.

what langueage? arent we adultws here?

Surprisingly there are a lot more youngsters reading here that I would have expected. Certainly a lot more than in some tech forums I frequent. Thus the mod's are pretty strict about language. Sioneva was just being freindly to give the heads up.

Ringbone, I think, was a famous (infamous?) poster here some time ago. Thats why a newbie would not recognize the name. There are a bunch of old poster's names that get mentioned in the forums. Some I have looked up, some I have not.

Sock puppets are posting accounts that are registered by people that dont want particular comments associated with their regular name. The practice is generally frowned upon.
