John Stead
Anyone who has read the February issue of the excellent GAGB online newsletter "Seeker" will have read of the new book on Geocaching in the UK by Countrymatters , aka Terry Marsh, published by Cicerone. If you want to have a look at it the link is http://www.cicerone.co.uk/product/detail.cfm/book/609/title/geocaching-in-the-uk Quote Link to comment
Gackt
Was given this for my birthday a few days ago and have read from cover to cover. It's very well written, and would recommend for newbies and those that have heard about Geocaching but have not been out to look for their first find yet. For myself who have been doing this for about nine months now.. I learned a few things, more to do with hiding. I am not sure it would offer anything new for the long term experienced cacher, though you never know. Quote Link to comment
Boltonian
Saw they had an e version but the cheeky buggers are charging the same as a printed version. NOT getting my money. Quote Link to comment
Cornell Finch
Ordered mine the same day Seeker was published. It arrived within 2 days. Great book, not read it all yet. Sorry, writing show notes for the podcast, hence short sentences... Quote Link to comment
agentmancuso
Terry Marsh is well-known as a writer of hillwalking guide books. My original copy of his Isle of Skye guide eventually disintegrated through overuse and had to be relaced. Quote Link to comment
