dryad5160
I just found this fourm because I am having a heckuva time uploading images to Mr. Pinkpants page: http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?id=14245 When I first set him free I was able to upload the single image of him. When you click on the link, the image pops right up. Now when I try and upload images of him at All Ocean's view cache...when I click on the link the photo doesn't pop up it just downloads the photo to my desktop. [] What changed? I want you all to be able to see photos with a minimum of mouse clicks. The first photo came from my digital camera card. The Cache photos are off a Kodak disk I ordered when I had regular photos developed at Costco. Help! & Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
+Ttepee
Images uploaded need to be in JPG format. My guess is that the pics you have off the Kodak disk are in a different format... try using the save as function and converting the pics to jpg's ... hopefully that will work. Good Luck! dryad5160
trimmed the photo down, made the file smaller and put it in jpg format so that isn't the answer yet. Any other thoughts? Quote Link to comment
+American Eagle
I can not seem to get the pi of Pegleg Pete to load on his web page. Not sure how you tell the size of the file of the pic. Steve Quote Link to comment
dryad5160
I save a copy of the photo to my desktop, then highlight it and then under "file" I activate "get info" and it will tell me how big it is. I am using a Mac so I don't know how this method will translate to a PC. Almost all my photos have to be cropped, made smaller then saved at a lower quality to get them down under 100k.
