+aintnorock Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I have an older etrex legend whose screen is fading badly to the point that you can't read it. is there anyway to fix this? Last time it happened I reloaded the software, and that worked, but not this time. I'm perfectly happy with it and if I could get it fixed for less than $50-75 I'd probably do that rather than get a new one. Any ideas? Thanks, carl Quote Link to comment

It may be serviceable but the problem will be finding a place that can do it. You may have to drop the money on a new unit. This time around get the Legend H. Quote Link to comment
