I have found some old chisled marks on top of Moccasin Gap and in the area that Daniel Boone passed by. One is the name of J Huddle and a numeral 12. I can not find any information on that last name in our area, and it is not a common name around here. Another is W.H.C. and may be linked to a Civil War soilder, not really sure but could be connected to William H. Christian. Quote
