Good News on a few TB's

I usually watch the travel bugs I have found. For a long while, six of them were either MIA's or not moving at all. I sent out many e-mails on several of them and as of yesterday 5 of the 6 are off and traveling again. Several of them are moving quite fast!

Sometimes persistance, and a little giving of information, does pay off! Now if the "Little Lost Army Guy" would just show up..."

Thought we could use some good news on Travel Bugs once in awhile.

was held by a guy SINCE OCTOBER last year. Constant emails were met by a promise to place it in a cache soon.

When I placed a note on the Bug's page stating that I may archive it, the 9 people who were on its watchlist emailed the guy that was holding it.

He said that his dog hid the Bug but now its found and that he will place it this weekend.

Who knows...but I am not holding my breath. icon_mad.gif

It is nice to hear examples of when things are going well with travel bugs. icon_smile.gif

I also think it's admirable when people other than the TB's owner take an active interest in keeping them alive and moving along. I tend feel a bit sentimental towards the bugs that I've personally escorted, and like to watch their progress after they've left my hands.

I do too! But I think that will go away the further the bug gets from me.
