+Shuckymomo Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) Is it just me or did they use to have PM caches show up on the map if you weren't a PM? Reason I ask is that my nephew, who is not a PM, wanted to hide a few caches and he told me where. Well, on my map, it shows the PM caches and I had to tell him NO. If someone who wants to hide a cache is not a PM, how does the hider know if there is a PM cache nearby? ...edit... Edited December 29, 2010 by Shuckymomo Quote
+stinger503 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I'm not 100% but I think the reviewer will tell them when they submit it. You also don't see where mystery cache finals and multi cache stages are either. Quote
+pppingme Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 If you plug the coordinates into the search page, ALL caches are listed, regardless of PM status. You just can't click a PM cache to see its full info. Quote
+niraD Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 It isn't just PM caches. A new hide can be too close to the hidden final location of a multi-cache or a mystery/puzzle cache as well. There is good advice in this knowledge book article: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=199 Quote
