Earthcaches as Favorites

I have placed traditional caches in some remarkable locations, but the one that has the most favorites is an earthcache. They certainly have been prominent in my list. And my impression is that the favorites feature is demonstrating how much much earthcaches are appreciated.

I think people really do like them because there is generally a really good "wow" factor involved in them. I know the ones I have done have really been cool.

I've noticed that Earthcaches, multi-caches, puzzles, and Wherigos seem to be more likely to garner votes. I think these caches are often more memorable than traditionals.

When I was assigning my Favourites, I went through the list of EarthCaches I'd found first and gave points to the ones I liked the most. Then I did the same for puzzle caches, virtuals, and webcams. I have over 5000 traditionals found, so I never bothered going through each of those to mark my favourites - I just searched for the ones that came to mind. That could be a reason why traditionals are not getting as many votes. But then again - I did search my list of EarthCaches first as that is one of my favourite types of caches.
