+WeCacheTogether
I'm just wondering what OWL means. I've seen it in multiple logs on the site. I've figured out a lot of the other caching lingo found in logs, but I can't figure this one out and Googled it to no avail. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Never heard if it. Not a common geocaching term at least in this area. Your best bet is to ask the person who used it. Quote Link to comment
+t4e
Ongoing Weight Loss? seriously now, the only thing that makes sense is "Outdoors Without Limits" Edited December 28, 2010 by t4e Quote Link to comment
+Lovejoy and Tinker
Is it on DNF logs, or 'found it' logs where people clearly had fun or there was a twist to the hide? If so then it could stand for "On Watch List" indicating that the cacher is going to keep an eye on the cache for whatever reason. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
...or, alternatively, maybe your region is being terrorised by some large were-owl? One that swoops down on unwary cachers and harasses them as they hunt? Just a thought. MrsB (who may have had too much mulled wine over the last few days) Quote Link to comment

It was on a note for someone who was going to go get our cache after they solved the puzzle. That is the only thing I can imagine that makes sense to me. Thanks! Any future viewers: "OWL" means "On Watch List" Quote Link to comment

+NYPaddleCacher
In my line of work OWL is a Web Ontology Language (obviously coined by a dyslexic acronym creator) but I doubt that has anything to do with the log on a geocache. Quote Link to comment
