+Cobra67
So for the last few days - since the big upgrade, come to think of it - I have not received any cache owner emails when my caches are logged, not when they are found, when I disabled one, etc. Anyone else? Quote Link to comment
+Running Crazy
Don't know I have one and it's buried under about foot of snow at the moment. I likely won't find out till spring. Quote Link to comment
+T_M_H
I got all of the normal messages when I had a new one published. Quote Link to comment
sylven
I just posted a "found it" log on one of my caches to test the CO email. Checked my email and it came through just fine. Try the same with your cache to see if it works. Perhaps its a setting or something. Quote Link to comment
+2Wheel'in
Cobra67 -- Must be something else on your end. Disable, Enable, Published, Found Its, etc., coming through just fine. Bill Quote Link to comment
+Ragfoot
Yes, I am experiencing the same problem. I have had 3 new caches published in the last two days. I DO receive the published notifications, BUT even though those 3 new caches have each been found half a dozen times, I have NOT received an e-mail notification announcing the finds! +Ike 13
I had two come through fine yesterday. I noticed when I was looking at logs someone had found one of mine today, but never saw an email. Yet I did get an email about a note on another one. So it's sporadic. +NicknPapa
You might check your junk mail folder, I just found our latest log notification there. Quote Link to comment
+Ragfoot
Yep, I just checked my Spam folder and found 22 messages from Geocaching [noreply@geocaching.com] received over the last two days. Quote Link to comment
+kwcahart
No problem here. I have received emails about cache finds and a new listing I just did. No problems. Quote Link to comment
+sujojeepers
Been having the same problem! Just checked the spam, sure enough, they're all there! Quote Link to comment
+dfx
same here, and same for a few watchlist emails. using google as mail provider. Quote Link to comment

Motorcycle_Mama
What ISP are you using for email? Some have been known to block/throttle email from Groundpeak/geocaching.com Quote Link to comment
+Klatch
What ISP are you using for email? Some have been known to block/throttle email from Groundpeak/geocaching.com I think it's Google. I am getting watchlist notifications, but not CO "your cache has been found" notifications. They were all in the spam folder. Quote Link to comment
+bulcacher
Same problem here. I receive notifications on caches I'm watching, but not caches I own. It's been since the update, too. I've checked junk mail. Not there, either. I don't mind scrolling through the caches I own, but it's sure a lot easier to get notifications. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I realized today that I haven't been getting notifications. Saw this thread and the suggestion to check my spam folder and sure enough, there they were. Every find since 12/18 went to spam along with a few other regular emails I receive. I'm using Gmail. I wonder if Gmail updated their spam filters. Does anybody else who had the same problem start recently use Gmail? Quote Link to comment
+Cobra67
Sho 'nuff! I'm using gmail and there they were in my spam mailbox! That's the first time that has happened. And it happened right around the update. Hmm, curious. So ... anyone know how to unspamify geocaching.com emails? Quote Link to comment
+bulcacher
Nevermind. I got through gmail, using Outlook. I looked in the Outlook junk mail folder and nothing was there. I check the spam folder on the gmail website, and they were all there. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment

Yep - just checked and there were legit emails in my spam folder - all for caches that I own Quote Link to comment
+birder428
I'm having same problem, or had the same problem. Wouldn't have known, except two friends went out caching, and found lots of my caches. They both logged on line. I got notifications of logs from one finder, but not the other. The notifications are not in my yahoo spam folder, either. Hmmmm. Quote Link to comment

I think it might have been a coincidence that this started around the time of the upgrade. I also found a bunch of other emails that I regularly receive from other sites in my spam folder. I suspect Gmail changed something. Quote Link to comment

+Cryptosporidium-623
It's been going on for longer than December. I've noticed this happening since November. I've tried different e-mail addresses on my end thinking it was my provider's e-mail servers. But, nope, it's gc.com. Very annoying. I hope they fix it soon. I thought it was GC too, as it was only cache listings that were affected, but after getting passwords to log into our exchange server, they were all in SPAM. Marked them all as not junk and they instantly hit the iPhone and notebook. Quote Link to comment
+Ecylram
I'm having the same issue as well. I had a cache published today and the logs are not coming through in my email. Whatever's going on, it seems to be hit or miss. Added later... Guess what, I checked Gmail's spam filter and the emails were there. First emails I've had on that account that got caught in their spam filter. Edited December 31, 2010 by Ecylram Quote Link to comment
