+J the Goat
I have seen shotgun shells recycled into geocache containers, I have made micro's from .45 Long Colt & .357 Magnum brass. The OP scares me more, but they are in Kalifornia. Their gun laws are more strict than any other State that was once part of America. Legally armed FFL holder, and supporter of the Constitution of the United States of America. My post was on topic discussing that I have seen and made geocache containers from used ammo casings, and my understanding is that the OP lives in the most restrictive State in America concerning gun laws, and their opinion differs greatly from what is considered normal in most parts of the United States. They are upset because they found a harmless shotgun shell casing in a geocache, we use them for geocache containers. And I see no problem with the pride that I take in my Country, I love America, and I love our freedom that we have here. Now you disagree with my opinion and want the thread closed, trying to turn it into a political debate and twist my words to suit you own agenda and blame me. Your most recent post is absolutely appropriate. The intentional misspelling of California and the "any other State that was once part of America" is clearly an unneeded political statement in a thread about shells in a cache. My agenda aside, your initial response wasn't needed. Your response to me was inappropriate. I've not said anything about whether or not I agree with your opinion, again you judge me based on my calling you out. My point is that not every topic has to come down to the government trying to take away our guns, or keeping out the Mexicans, or any other current hot topic. You can just say "a shell in a cache really isn't that big of a deal." Try keeping it simple sometime, it has it's place.
