+BeeSssJay
---BEGIN MESSAGE: The "Let Freedom Ring" hitchhiker needs help from geocachers! On its travels to the fifty states in the wake of September 11, it has become stranded approximately seven miles south of Mt. Katahdin in Maine. You may access the folowing page and related links for the travel bug's mission, history, and current coordinates: http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=544 I placed "Let Freedom Ring" into service from my base near Philly, but coincidentally I'm a Maine native who lived in southern Maine for fifty years before moving to Penn. Geocachers, I need volunteers for an extraction. I'm about to place you in harms way (black flies)! Now is the time to step-up or step-back without prejudice. PRIMARY MISSION: RESCUE TRAVELLER VIA EXTRACTION FROM CURRENT LOCATION AND REMAND TO CUSTODY OF NEW CACHE IN OTHER NEW ENGLAND STATE. SECONDARY MISSION: PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO TRAVELLER BY FACILITATING ITS TRAVELS THOUGHOUT NEW ENGLAND AND USA. Please coordinate and advise on mission plans via this secure on-line forum. ---END MESSAGE--- Quote Link to comment
