How do y'all feel about the http://www.geocaching.com/expedia/ trackables going out. Has this been discussed? I did a search and didn't come up with much. Any idea what they look like?

seriously? we have what is basically a pathtag that are traveling advertisements for a product? next thing you know they'll be advertising orange juice and luggage. like the last thing i want to find in a cache or in my collection is something equal to a newspaper ad. really?

It sounds like a promotion between Groundspeak and Expedia, kinda like the Jeep promotion before. And hey, I'll take a free trackable to put it out into the the world.

Agreed. I don't like it either. I'm a capitalist and believe on making an honest buck, but I don't like caches or travelers going in that direction. I am NOT a fan of those eat sleep play chips either.

Neat concept because of geo-travel in general, but $50 off an expedia purchase is kind of lame.

I had one in my last order from Groundspeak.

 

I don't mind getting free travelers.

I also got a free Expedia tag when I received my last order from Groundspeak. Hey, it's a free traveler so if it goes missing I won't care.
