+teper
About a year old eTrex Vista HCx. Excellent condition. Always had a screen protector. Really enjoyed using it. The compass was very useful in finding cashes. Only reason I am selling it is to go paperless. $125 or make an offer. Quote Link to comment

dphilbin
To questions; Is this unit still available? And How did you install topo maps into this unit? Via ad card or by using Cd's? Do you have a preference? Than you.. Do philbin Quote Link to comment
+teper
Yes, the unit is available. You can install maps either way. I prefer downloading from the computer. This way I can chose what maps to download. Sometimes I use TOPO from Garmin, but if I can find a better TOPO, I use it. There are many articles on how to do this. Also, you can download Garmin Navigator maps, and GPS will give you turn-by-turn directions. No speech, but very useful for getting to the cache. Quote Link to comment
