Logging my finds

Why can't I type in my recent find under "geocaches I have found"? Do you need to have a premium membership to do this?

No premium membership needed to view and log non PM (Premium Member) caches

 

Go to the cache page

At the top, Log Visit

Select Found

Write Long Log

Submit

 

However, if you're trying to log a Premium Cache you DO need to be a premium member to logs those.

 

There are ways around that restriction though. I just don't know them.

 

What's happening when you try to log it?

Follow seekeroftheway's instructions above and the cache will automatically appear under "Geocaches I have found".

Log in to the Geocaching.com website with your user name and password.

 

On the main page, there is a box about 1/4 down the page on the right side under your user name. The box is under "Search for Geocaches".

 

Type in the "GC" number of the cache you found.

 

This will take you to the Cache Page.

Alternatively, if you have done a few in a certain area, you can enter a postcode and find them by name, this is how i normally do them as you tend to remember the names of them as you do them.
