+The Spindoctors
The latest update on the National Parks policy has been emailed out to Geocaching NSW members. In summary, we expect the final geocaching policy anyday. The policy will require geocachers to apply for permission to hide a geocache in NSW National Parks. There will be restrictions on the size and contents of the geocaches. Placement will be at the discretion of the relevant ranger. Geocaches still in NSW National Parks will also need to go through the approval process. We expect there will be some 'teething problems' once the policy is put in place. But the committee will be available to assist geocachers with any hurdles they encounter. Our long-term aim is to make the application process as streamlined as possible. Will update you all when we know more. 1 Quote Link to comment
