Trip Planning to Ireland

My wife & I are planning a trip to Ireland around 2nd Quarter 2011 and hoping to get some insider information on where to go and what to see during our 10-12 day stay.

 

The plan is to rent a car then try to pre-book places to stay, to include perhaps some time in a farm house. We do not consider ourselves tourists but enjoy being a part of the community and meeting the locals.

 

Yes, there are also caches and will get along the way
