tubeex1995
Lenge has it that when 2 men where digging to bild the railrow across Canada in Staint Basile NB. They found a underground cache. A devil came out too 4 steps on the rocks hit his cane on the rocks and made a 4 inch deep hole in the rock. Is this a goos earthcache??? Quote Link to comment

+geodarts
It might be be hard to come up with the coordinates for where this happened. But there is a lot of geological and earth science potential here. What kind of rock did the devil strike? Are some rocks more resistant to the Devil's cane than others? Does the Devil's cane heat up the rocks until they melt, to allow a hole to form, in which case what is the melting point they have to reach? How does rock struck with the Devil's Cane vary from other rock? Was the Devil interested in a particular geological formation? Still, I suspect that it is material best suited for a "Weird New Brunswick" or roadside attractions type of web site than an earthcache. Edited November 17, 2010 by mulvaney Quote Link to comment

There is already a category "Devilish Places" for such a listing. Quote Link to comment
