+SeekerOfTheWay
Can I create several PQ's (one along a route, one of 500 closest near home) and save them separately on a GPSr? OR do the PQ lists merge on the GPSr? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

+Bear and Ragged
Depends on the GPS and how many caches it will hold... As a general opinion. Yes. The unit will hold up to the maximum number of caches/GPX files. It will usually read them all as 1 file and just list all the caches loaded. Quote Link to comment
+SeekerOfTheWay
Thanks guys. I don't have a GPSr yet. I'm looking to get a Garmin GPSMAP 62st (in a few months). I built 2 Pocket Queries and loaded them onto my BlackBerry, importing them to the blackStar app and it merged the 2 lists. Very unhandy! Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
The GPS will tell you the closest caches. If you have three PQ's 1 - town A 2 - town B 3 - caches along the route from A to B The GPS will always tell you the closest caches. If you need to know from which PQ the cache is, the only way I can think of is to print a list... (What's the problem with a merged list? ) Quote Link to comment
+SeekerOfTheWay
Hmm, I guess it doesn't matter what list they come from. If I'm driving the route I wanted to cache, then only those caches will show up, huh? And not those from the list with caches from Town A. I guess that's true! Thanks! Quote Link to comment

Your problem is to work out if the cache is behind, or in front of you! (But the GPS should give you an indication of direction) Quote Link to comment

I just started playing with PQs and didn't think it through. Thanks again. I can't wait to get a real GPSr! Quote Link to comment
+EFLFT
Thanks guys. I don't have a GPSr yet. I'm looking to get a Garmin GPSMAP 62st (in a few months). I built 2 Pocket Queries and loaded them onto my BlackBerry, importing them to the blackStar app and it merged the 2 lists. Very unhandy! It only merges them on that view .. if you select the option to clear the list and delete all the waypoints, you can then import one of them individually again. You'll have to follow that two-step process if you want to only see one list at a time (at least from what I've figured out with BlackStar so far) Quote Link to comment
