+pendragon9321
Just setting Harry the Horse travel bug to explore the world, especially caches reachable by horse/pony and just wondered how many people used this mode of transport. Not managed many of mine so far on the pone but enjoyed taking him along for the hunt when I've been able Quote Link to comment

+Bear and Ragged
There is a cacher over Leicestershire way that rides, and has -I think- done a few caches by horse... Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Pita getting on and off... Getting ON is the problem. Getting off is easy. As easy as falling off a log... Quote Link to comment
+Pharisee
Gonna show my age here... Does anyone remember a television programme in the 60's - 70's call 'Out of Town' presented by Jack Hargreaves? In a number of episodes he travelled the byway with a pack pony. I always thought I'd like to do that someday... not ride the pony but just use it to carry a tent and stuff and wander the old roads. Maybe I still will... one day... and pick up a cache or two along the way. Quote Link to comment

He was also on "How", a programme that he had conceived. Ahhh.....memories! [] Quote Link to comment
+Original A1
"Anyone cache by pony/horse?" Er... nope! I've ridden to a cache, but my steed involved two wheels and spent a lot more time trying to unseat me than your average four-legged equine. Quote Link to comment
+reddeeps
We have part of a cache series which my daughter regulary maintains via pony. (does that count) Quote Link to comment

+Brentorboxer
Many years ago long time before geocaching was invented, I have found letterboxes by horseback, does that count? Quote Link to comment
+currykev
Most of my caching exploits seem to follow in the hoof of horses. That's why I wear boots that don't mind the extra mud they create. Quote Link to comment
