+Glorfindel
If anyone is traveling throught Utah on I-15 I know a very nice Travel Bug that could use some help getting back on his way. He probably has moss growing on him by now. The cache he is in >> His bug page >> Quote Link to comment
Attila
Considering the climate here lately, I'd say he'd be dehydrated and withered up instead of mossy. That's on my list to hit with my 3-year-old, I'll see if I can reach it soon. Quote Link to comment
+Glorfindel
Your right. Poor guy is has probably lost 30+ with his new sweat treatment. Hope you find him well. Quote Link to comment
+Ramness
The bug has only been there for 10 days and he has mold? I've had some of my caches sit for 3 months or more without being visited. I know of a cache about 15 miles from here that hasn't had a visitor yet this year! Last visit was last December. Quote Link to comment
+Runaround
I'd have to agree. I might get antsy after 10 weeks, but not 10 days. Some of my own bugs have had a chance to get a lot crustier than this one. Travel bugs are a good reminder that patience is a virtue. Now where did I park my car??????? Quote Link to comment
+Glorfindel
I must admit that I am still fairly new at this. Been caching since June and this being my first bug I guess I got a little anxious. I will surely watch is grow more stale than this throughout its life. Quote Link to comment
Rubbertoe
Heheh... I'd rather have it sit in a cache than in someone's house. Just wait until someone grabs it and doesn't do anything with it for like 3 weeks. That's when I get jittery. *laugh* --==< http://home.columbus.rr.com/rubbertoe >==-- Quote Link to comment
PuzzleBug
Two people have logged that cache since the bug was placed, and my bet would be that it's not likely it's there anymore. I would also bet that neither of the two who made a log are ones that picked up your bug. Someone probably picked it up on the 4th or 5th just after it was placed and they haven't logged it yet. That's one of the most frustrating thing about bugs is when they're gone but haven't been logged. Someone already said that patience is a virtue with bugs, and they're definitely right! Good luck. Rubbertoe
I dunno - I wouldn't assume that it is gone from the cache. Some people just aren't interested in travel bugs - particularly if they can't help it towards its goal. Until someone says "where's the bug?" I wouldn't worry about it being missing from that cache. --==< http://home.columbus.rr.com/rubbertoe >==-- Quote Link to comment
+Glorfindel
Poor little guy, so far from home, lost. We shall just have to wait and see where he resurfaces. Anyone willing to put a little wager. Is he lost or just overlooked. Just joking on the bet thing. Quote Link to comment
+Glorfindel
The Book Worm is back on track. A friend of the cache owner went and checked on him. Apparently the cache he was in was in an area that was on again, off again due to fire danger. They moved him 30 miles down the road and sent him on his way again. Let's hope he picks up from here.
