Is there any automated way to see when a particular cacher post a log?

My with is on a caching trip up in Kansas and I would like to follow here logs.

Is it possible?

I don't believe so. To my knowledge the only option is to check her profile regularly - and that's not an automated way.

 

I would like this option too, btw.

And I dont want this option for everybody to see. I wouldnt mind if the option is only for the people on your friend list to see.

When "Friends" first became a feature on the site, I believe that was mentioned as a future enhancement / feature - to be able to "watch" your friends' logs.

 

But my current sense is that isn't going to happen - there have been plenty of opportunities to do something with the "Friends" feature beyond just having a list of friends. It's been three or four years since "Friends" were introduced; that they rolled out Souvenirs quickly without doing anything with "Friends" tells me that it's not a very high priority feature.

If you know which caches she is going after you can watch them if not too many and then you will know which she logs. Or watch all of them in the area she is likely to search. (if not too many). Hard to do.

Is that working? Twitter updates via Field Notes aren't last I knew. Twitter changed their authentication at the end of August and Groundspeak wasn't paying attention to the notices that the method they were using was going away, so it broke.

Just log on to Groundspeak using her user name and password, then go to the caches found page.

I found the best way was to go to the " Hide of Seek page and do a search for "caches found by": user name.
