If someone's profile says 'Inactive Member ' what does that mean?

 

How/why would it be inactive?

I think that would mean someone who hasn't activated their account via the activation email, or someone whos email address is no longer valid and is rejecting emails.

No it's not a simple as that

 

This is someone who has been caching since 2006

Last logged on Friday, 08 October 2010 but now has no logs listed whatsoever but I have a 'Found It' log of theirs in an old PQ

I'm speculating, but could it be someone who's had their membership removed by TPTB for some sort of breach of the rules? Or someone who as asked for their membership to be closed? The account page would be there to honour finds etc of other cachers, but otherwise be inactive........

Eh? The Unite for Diabetes was a Groundspeak sponsored C-word thing, and they were giving out trackable coins for it.

 

Odd that they have no finds, but last logged in only a couple of weeks ago though.

Ah, you are indeed correct. I've found the cache you're talking about.

 

My DB says the same. I have only that cache found by them too.

 

How very odd indeed. As you say, maybe they asked to be removed or something?

My curiosity stems from this cache which was on our watchlist.

 

I was a bit surprised to see an FTF logged yesterday as Skadhi was FTF in August 2007 - I have a PQ from 20/9/2010 with the found log still in it!

 

I recall that Skadhi had a few other finds as well (can't remember exactly but probably just under 100) all of which have been deleted as have his trackable logs such as the one removed from this cache and placed in Royal Berkshire Travel Bug Hotel

 

Notice the 'jump' between 06/16/2007 and 11/11/2007 on the TB's page

Reading through her forum posts from 2007 .... Skadhi is female with a couple of kids (probably teenagers now) - her daughter was diabetic. She probably lives/lived in NE Hants.

I'm assuming there is a way of deleting your account, if you no longer wish to be registered? (might involve emailing TPTB, but that sort of thing can usually be done, I'd guess!) She might have got bored and left, but preferred her details deleted? (Security conscious, perhaps...)
