Never give up!

Last October one of my TBs was picked up by someone who didn't post another log on it until December, when he dipped it in a cache; then nothing at all until August, when he posted that he had just found it under the seat of his truck. Then nothing again until today when he logged dropping it into a cache--6 days short of a year since the day he first picked it up. I'm really glad to see that it's finally getting back in circulation!

I have one, TB2AYN3, that's last log was June 09. Since one member of the family who found it is a service man, I surely hope something bad has not happened to cause their hiatus from the hobby. I need to release a replacement, but I can't for the life of me find the copy tag. No idea where I have put it. Any suggestions, folks?

Just make a copy Copy tag by putting the tracking number (which is on your TB's page) and "Trackable at geocoing.com" onto a piece of card tag and laminate it (if you can) or protect it in some way. It's not quite as good as having the real Copy tag but it works OK on some of mine which are on their third incarnation.

Did you check in the junk draw or under the cushions of the couch?

Two of mine are missing right now.

and

The first, I'm not holding out much hope for it turning up. The second - there's a chance someone picked it up and has forgotten about it or lost it somewhere.

Someone has had this one for quite some time.

I tried contacting them some time ago to prod them into dropping this one off somewhere, but they haven't logged onto the site since April. *shrugs*

Last week I picked up a TB that had been released in June 2003, still the original tag. But it spent 3 years of the last 7 out of action. One cacher kept it for 3 months, one for 12 months; another for 20 months!!!
