+Coldgears
I did searched for 10 caches on the trail (I think I found 7 out of them) and they were surprisingly varied. The hike took a while, and while I was not tired, my dad sure was so we headed back. I'll finish it up eventually, but I'm surprised at the creativity. EDIT: This was months ago. +John in Valley Forge
I dont recognize that one CG. But there are a few I have not found yet so I will keep that one in mind. The change in the trail over the last few months as the seasons change is great. I have gone back and tried to find some that I had found in autumn and winter and was completely perplexed that the terrain had changed so much with foliage. Quote Link to comment
+John in Valley Forge
I've got to get off my boat and back on this trail Quote Link to comment
+John in Valley Forge
I hit the trail on Sunday as Hurricane Irene left. The river was not navigable but I was getting stir crazy. Hit several SRT caches near VF park. For those that do this section, the river had risen almost to the trail. engulfing the first floors of the homes along the river. Quote Link to comment
Spatial Distortion
A new interactive map has been added to the SRT cache pages. To show parking, restaurants, bike rentals and other various points of interest. It will be updated as more cachers ask for certain POI's. http://www.freewebs.com/grozecki/SRT%20Map/SRT-Map.htm Quote Link to comment
