my rubber seal has came loose and would like to fix it but what glue to use garmin wants to charge me 90 bucks and my old one to give me a new one but if I spend anymoney it will be on a newer gps

Forget all the fancy glues etc. Just use some double sided tape.

 

I used the one designed for joining carpets and it's still going strong after 18 months.

 

The gps has been used in temperatures from +35'c to 0'c (hot and sweaty to jolly cold).

 

As a hint make sure you clean off the old adhesive really well.

 

I hope that this post passes the punctuation and grammar police.
