Have noticed that my stat bar cache found it different to my logs

Which number is higher? And how much is the difference?

 

Are you looking at your 'found it' logs and missing the 'attended' logs?

 

Have you logged a cache as found more than once by accident?

 

Have you recently logged some new finds and the system hasn't caught up yet?

 

Knowing the difference and which one is showing more may help point to the cause of the problem.

That happens to us sometimes. Try pressing F5. That usually solves the problem

It is showing correct now! have to keep an eye on it thanks

I have been noticing this for a week or two now. It just seems to be a slight delay with the stat bar updating. A quick refresh and it is fine.

Its been that way for a long time as the image is hosted on a different server and doesn't update straight away.

In my case it always updated immediately...until a few days ago.

They've probably introduced some caching (in the computing sense ) to save resources. It's a good idea IMO - is it really necessary for the statbars to be accurate to the second? So long as they update within a few hours, it's not that much of a problem, is it?

 

I'd rather resources went towards handling main site demand (particularly on 10/10/2010 ) rather than keeping statbars second-accurate.
