+Dtzz
A couple of months ago I bought a new Garmin Etrex H. And i am wondering if it's possible to buy the cable to transfer waypoints from PC to my GPSr. Anyone has one for sale? Cheers Quote Link to comment
+rayt333
Look on Ebay, you can find them for around $10 or so, or you can order one from Garmin for about $35. Quote Link to comment
+gelfling6
You might want to elaborate which interface you want, too.. The Classic & the "H" still used the 4-pin RS-232C serial interface to the GPS.. Most retail sporting goods outlets (Cabelas, Dick's, etc.) still carry the Garmin cable as Rayt333 mentioned for $35. (DB-9 to 4-pin slide). I've seen the same on EBay for $10, and a japanese made direct conversion USB to 4-pin slide (had a prolific USB-Serial converter inline) for connecting to a USB socket, which most newer computers have. Otherwise, you'll need to purchase a USB to Serial cable (USB-A on one end, male DB-9 on the other.) Quote Link to comment
