Help on my coin design

Hello everyone.

 

I have been caching for about 2 months now and I wanted to design and release a personal coin.

I made 2 designs, but would like some feedback on them to maybe improve them since they are a bit "empty" at the moment.

 

I am thinking about making a series out of them with different quotes from the movie Cat In The Hat on them.

 

All comments, tips and improvement is highly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I don't mean to belabor a topic that appears again and again, but isn't the Cat in the Hat and all protected by copywrite?

 

That aside, if you've gotten permission to use the image and the quotes, I like the shaped coin design.

Yeah... the copyright could be an issue.. and I am still working on that to get approval.

Getting approval takes a while though

If you're trying for a personal coin add more elements that include YOU either as a cacher or the type of caching you've enjoyed doing. Personal coins are popular because they are personal. This is a cute commercial idea fraught with copyright snags. Just my nickel's worth.

Thank you for comments so far. You are right about giving it a personal touch instead of copying the hat from the movie. Gonna work on that and make a design of my own
