+PalmettoBuckeye
I was searching for a geocache off the "official" trail and after striking out I started back. Now, I was by myself and not making a whole lot of noise. I was also not paying much attention to what was ahead of me. I saw something pale and fleshy about 20 feet away but it didn't really register. Then it moved. And then the smell hit me. That's when I realized I was looking at the rear-end of a guy who was in a full squat. My yelp of surprise and his "Oh NO!!!" were equally loud. Then he says "I'm sorry, but I really have to go" and he continues to squat and...well...go. With me standing there. I turned around and headed back down the way I came. His yells of "I'm sorrrrrrrrry!" followed me down the path. Note to self---pay attention to where you are walking! Edit to switch "Do" to "Does" but I guess we can not edit Subjects. Oops! +PalmettoBuckeye
20 feet? How thick were the woods? That's like the length of a fullsize crewcab truck. Lots of short scrubby bushes, live oaks, and marsh grass. If I had been looking up and ahead I would have seen him a lot sooner. I was looking down at my GPS. Quote Link to comment
