+spikenvalour Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Does anyone have an answer on how to delete unwanted caches that I uploaded to my Garmin Oregon 450 device from geocaching.com? I inadvertently loaded some that I had already logged and want to get rid of them. I also have some on there that we won't be able to look for, since we are full time RVer's, we move to a lot of different areas of the country and don't want the unfound caches left on the GPS. Any help would be appreciated. Quote

+New Jersey TJ Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 They are all stored in this folder: \garmin\gpx\ In that folder you'll find the PQ (gpx) files that contain the caches. To remove the cache, delete the gpx that contains it.. Your question suggests that you're loading caches from the cache web page individually. You really ought to consider loading your GPS by generating a pocket query containing a number of caches. Then all you have to do is copy that PQ gpx the the \garmin\gpx folder. It will then be easy to easily remove unwanted caches by deleting or updataing those gpx's. Quote
