+brad.32
The "Bay Area and Beyond Picnic #2" is coming up and a number of TBs are already in it, but some don't have any associated pictures. If I see these bugs I might take a picture of them and add notes to their pages, but not list it as a find, because I didn't find them. Can one add just a note or will it register as a find even if listed as a note? I guess it doesn't matter too much, but... Geocachers can't have too many gadgets. Along with GPS units and travel bugs, we NEED digital cameras. Tell your spouses. Quote Link to comment
+Cacheola Crew
It will just register as a note, so YES, you can do what you are suggesting. You have to write down the TB's number if you want to add things later, after it is no longer in your inventory, even to add a note. +brad.32
I did this, but the first one increased my counter, so I stopped. bthomas and I talked about it at the picnic and he said it would do this... Quote Link to comment
+Cacheola Crew
And you are sure you made it a "note" and not a find? I've never had it increase my TB count to mark a note. Maybe it is some "bug" LOL. J. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Geocaching-HamptonRoadsVA/join "You have brains in your head; You have feet in your shoes. +brad.32
Yes, a note. Not a note added to a previously found bug, but a note for a bug not found. As I said, bthomas, a well-known bug finder here, also said it would happen. Maybe a note doesn't cause find but adding a picture does, but why add a note without a picture? Quote Link to comment
