The Copy

Jeremy tells us that there is no rule that states you can't use the "COPY" tag. But my question is, if you send both tags out, both have the same number, will this not confuse the locations? Copy tags should have an identifying number or letter, so they can be tracked separately!

Although, if you did send out two (or more...) travel bugs with the exact same ID, it would make things kinda interesting...

WARNING! Web-ling's brain is now contemplating the complexities of multiple bugs with the same tracking ID. Something strange may happen soon!

It's a backup tag. Nothing says you have to use it if your original goes AWOL. Since it is your tracking number to do what you want with it, feel free to make a new bug with the same tracking number.
