Master Mariner
I often use Google Earth to check locations, just copy and paste the co-ords Hi DrDick, well, what I have is coordinates only, and I cant find a place on google earth to type in these coords ? Click on the "Add Placemark" button. It looks like a yellow thumb tack and, on my set up, it is positioned just below the Google Earth menu bar. That opens a form where you can enter your position. +Graculus
In Google Earth just type them into the Fly To search box. Takes you straight there. goosegogger
I just tried to send DrDick and Vic a PM and got a 'member not listed' message ?, was interested in finding out about 'memorymap' Quote Link to comment
+Graculus
I just tried to send DrDick and Vic a PM and got a 'member not listed' message ?, was interested in finding out about 'memorymap' Ah the elusive DrDick... there is a known problem with the mechanism for sending PM's to certain account names. You can drop him an email through his profile - click on the name. Post your question about Memory Map here. Many of us use it, transfer the maps to a PDA or phone, create pocket queries and overlay geocaching icons on the top of the maps! +Bear and Ragged
I just tried to send DrDick and Vic a PM and got a 'member not listed' message ?, was interested in finding out about 'memorymap' We (the UK cachers) have recently found out that the forums don't like the "&" in cachers names, when others wish to send a PM. Glad I chose "and" instead! Quote Link to comment
