+Sierra Rat
Ok, I bought a 4G MicroSD card and installed it in the GPSr. However, I've been unable to load maps or waypoints to the card so the unit will see them. Anyone know how to do this? If I can't, what is the purpose of having this card? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+bcblues
It should show up as a separate drive letter in Garmin Mass Storage mode. Quote Link to comment
+1Guy3gals
If your using MapSource to upload to the 62s make sure you change the device to the Mass Storage Device that bcblues was talking about. On my work lappy that is F:, but might be different for you. Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
Are you placing those maps and waypoints into appropriate folders on your SD card? The same rules applied to the SD as to internal memory. The *.img maps must be placed into a "Garmin" folder. *.gpx files should be placed into a folder below that called "GPX". Create the folders as needed and then move the files to them. Quote Link to comment
