+curiousg420 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) Hi...I've been thinking about getting premium membership for awhile now...I've found almost all the traditional/virtual caches close to where I live, (Victoria BC) and have been making progress on the unknown/multi-caches...So, basically, I am looking for more caches to find...Can anyone tell me if there are a fair number of premium member only caches in the city of Victoria?? Thanks.... curiousg420 Edited August 25, 2010 by curiousg420 Quote
+dfx Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 within 20 km of victoria center i get 20 PMO caches. Quote
+Keith Watson Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I spent a few days in Victoria last month, awesome place. I see about 20 out of 500 in a 20 km radius. If you can afford the $30 a year, it is worth it to use the Pocket Queries so you can quickly get a list of caches you have not found and load them onto your GPS. Quote

+mwellman Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Welcome to Geocaching curiousg420! One of the minor benefits of premium membership is the access to premium member caches. But the benefit that we enjoy and use the most is Pocket Queries! You can create a pocket query with 1000 caches in it at once and download them into your GPS. With our Nuvi, it will also download the cache page, hints and last few logs - PaperLess Caching! We can have all of Edmonton in our Nuvi at once! Then if you travel, you can create Pocket Queries along a route so you don't have to download them one by one. Bookmarks are great for creating your favorites or have to do list. I have some private ones that list caches to do for challenges that we are working on. Well worth the money. Quote
