+MissJenn
Cache In Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers have been dedicated to cleaning up parks and other cache-friendly places around the world. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources. More here: http://www.geocaching.com/cito/ Quote Link to comment
+ChileHead
It's a great opportunity to give back to the parks that allow us to spend time doing what we all love to do. Quote Link to comment
DougBeck
We always carry a trash bag with us so we can pick up litter along the way, weather we are GeoCaching or just hiking through the woods. Quote Link to comment
Morsedog
If you geocache with your kids, it is a great way to teach and show them how to help clean up the Earth. And it does clean up the Earth! When I started geocaching I would bring my metal detector with me and usually just find trash on the way to the cache but sometimes I found some cool things. If you have a metal detector, give it a try. These are two hobbies that are meant to be together. Quote Link to comment
