i have just started trying to geocaching and have been to the nature park about four times and have had no luck just don't know if i'm doing something wrong or not looking hard enough....one funny thing is that i could walk abit in on direction and then the needle will spin around and go from 5 meters awto to 20,, weird

Are you searching under tree cover?

Sometimes the best thing is to head towards the cache from one direction until you get close (5-10m) and get and idea where it should be, then come at that location from another direction and do the same thing. This will )hopefully) give you a better idea of the approximate cache location. Your GPSr wont lead you right to the cache but just close, then you need to look.

You may want to check out the local geocaching association to see if there is anyone close by to go with you for a few caches.
