BSA event in Genesee County, MI

I am introducing geocaching as the theme for a Scout outing on Saturday 10-2-10. I need registered Scouts and Scouters who are Youth Protection trained to teach these lads how to use their GPS units and conduct learning activities geared toward the geocaching merit badge and the fun of geocachng. You must be willing to meet a couple times before the event. The event is in Clio, MI.

 

If you are registered or willing to register ($16 and a background check, plus online training) please respond here. We have a whole day to fill with fun and challanging puzzles, riddles and finds.

 

Also interestd in any fun learning activities or games that go with gaining the knowlege of geocaching and learning to use GPS unit.

 

I am so new to this I don't even know how we would contact each other, but I am throwing out a net to see what I might catch.

 

Maybe there is a local group meeting that I need to know about.
